When I became a mom, I had so many questions. I googled, texted other moms, & asked for advice as often as I could. All my new mama questions begged for genuine answers. I had just entered into a season that was completely new. I desired the guidance of mamas who had come before me. But online, it was hard to find content that truly depicted what motherhood is like.

A couple months ago, I felt called to start this blog, From Our Home. Once again I had found myself feeling lost & alone in a new season of motherhood. But I now know I’m not really alone, & I’m hopeful that my experiences will encourage other mamas. So God laid on my heart the message he wants me to share:

the realities of motherhood.

Being a mama is the greatest gift, and it’s holy work.

But that doesn’t mean it’s always easy. At from our home, I hope you are encouraged when motherhood feels overwhelming. I hope you find connection to the words shared and peace in knowing you are not alone in your journey as a mom.

I pray that from our home will be a beautiful resource for every mama seeking comfort in authenticity.
